Jets WR Edwards not injured in minor car accident
Jets WR Braylon Edwards was involved in a minor car accident early Friday morning, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Neither Edwards nor his 25-year-old passenger were seriously injured in the accident, in which he lost control of his 2011 Audi at 3:40 a.m. ET, causing him to drive into the grass and strike a pylon. Police believe Edwards was going too fast when he crashed but do not think he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
No tickets were given out and it did not appear that Edwards, who was arrested on drunken-driving charges last September, was under the influence.

Survey says more fans blame owners than players for labor dispute
With the NFL lockout now lasting for more than 100 days, recent results of a National Rasmussen Reports Survey show that 49 percent of fans blame NFL owners for the labor dispute.
The survey, which is represented by 624 adults who watch the NFL at least once a week during the season, also showed that just 29 percent are blaming the players.
The same fans were asked their opinions on how the lockout will impact the upcoming season, and the majority expected that the ongoing labor negotiations would have an effect on the league's schedule.
Of the 624 respondents, 70 percent predicted that the season won't start on time and 49 percent said it's likely there will be no football at all this year.
