NFL owners and players resumed negotiations Friday morning at the same Manhattan law firm where they spent 12½ hours in negotiations Thursday.
According to sources present at the negotiations, the two sides made solid progress on the core economic issues that have made this such a difficult deal to hammer out.
It has not been decided if talks will continue through the weekend if a deal isn't reached Friday. U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan, who's overseeing negotiations, has scheduled a vacation that begins Saturday.
