Dana says "Never" to women in the UFC

I ain't gonna lie, it sucks hearing something so overtly negative about WMMA from the guy who basically runs the sport of mixed martial arts. I'm not particularly worried about him keeping his word - Dana's shown over and over again that never never really means never. And if the quality of the fighters and fights continue to improve as I'm sure they will, it'll be impossible to ignore women's MMA forever.

But it's stuff like this could discourage the next generation of female fighters (the Olympic judokas, wrestlers, etc) from getting into MMA and pushing things along. That slows everything down, and that's not good. Things are already progressing slower than they should with Strikeforce's ham-fisted approach to it's women's divisions, and we also have to wait until at least next season to see if Bellator does more tournaments with chicks. At this point, Dana White's comments are just another frustrating kick to the vagina.

As for all the retards that are happy about this news - yeah yeah, we get it: you don't like women's MMA. But there's a large number of people who do, and hearing you cheer on the dismissal of an entire gender's participation in the sport just makes us want to punch you in your ignorant fucking faces.
