Rice leads AFC Players of the Week

Ravens RB Ray Rice, Titans LB Colin McCarthy and Steelers WR-PR were named AFC Players of the Week for Week 13.

Rice ran for a career-high 204 yards and one touchdown as he led the Ravens to a win over the division-rival Browns Sunday. Of his yards, 67 came on a run in the third quarter, which also set a career high. This is his second career player of the week award.

McCarthy had nine tackles, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and a pass defensed in the Titans' 23-17 win over the Bills. McCarthy, a rookie, has stepped in and played very well for an injured Barrett Ruud. This is McCarthy's first career player of the week award.

Brown returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown in the Steelers' blowout win over the Bengals. It was the first Steelers punt-return TD since the end of the 2006 season, when Santonio Holmes took one to the house against the Panthers. It is Brown's first player of the week award.
