Commissioner Roger Goodell said on Pro Football Talk Live that four owners will attend the May 16 mediation session between the league and the players' association.
The owners and players will get together in Minneapolis after almost a month away from the table. The two sides will meet with Judge Arthur Boylan, who adjourned the mediation sessions on April 20.
NFL Network's Albert Breer reported that Giants owner John Mara, Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, Steelers owner Art Rooney and Bengals owner Mike Brown will attend the mediation session.
Since the mediations adjourned, District Judge Susan Nelson ruled to end the lockout, but the owners are appealing in a case that will be heard on June 3. There is currently a temporary stay put in place that keeps the lockout intact until the appeal hearing concludes. The appeals court has yet to decide on making the stay permanent.
