Report: Dolphins coaches and execs could have salaries cut

The Dolphins' coaching staff and executives could have their salaries cut by as much as 20 percent, according to The Palm Beach Post.

Reports had surfaced last week that non-football employees would face cuts, but, according to The Post, GM Jeff Ireland and head coach Tony Sparano, along with his assistants, will not be excluded from the cuts if the lockout does not end by June 1.

Ireland can decide the percentages of cuts on coaches' contracts on an individual basis, according to their contracts.

The GM's salary is unknown, but Sparano makes nearly $2.8 million per season according to The Post.
