LOCK OF THE WEEK
Which of your picks do you feel strongest about and why?
Hub Arkush: The Bills went into the bye week believing and now get to return to face a team they have more talent than. Bills start the second half fast.
Keith Schleiden: The Saints absolutely steamrolled the Colts last week. Now that they know what they are capable of, I see them continuing the trend this week against a lost Rams team.
Mike Holbrook: The Patriots traditionally have been a tough matchup for the Steelers, who are vulnerable to New England's spread attack. The Pats will win a high-scoring game.
Dan Arkush: The well-rested Bills will be trying hard to please their fan base north of the border. The Redskins are reeling after injuries to both Tim Hightower and Santana Moss last week.
Eric Edholm: Matt Moore struggled with Carolina at the Giants last season, and he might have a worse team in Miami this time around. The Dolphins have little chance against the Giants.
Mike Wilkening: The Browns play tough defense and can string together the necessary drives to keep this close. I respect the 49ers, but I can't lay this many points with them right now.'
Dan Parr: The Saints aren't above having a letdown game, but I don't see them having one against the winless Rams. Chalk up another blowout win for New Orleans.
Kevin Fishbain: Drew Brees is not the quarterback you want to face when you have such little depth at cornerback, like the Rams have. Even if Bradford plays, Saints should win big.
Eli Kaberon: Things seem to be going in the wrong direction for the 'Skins, which will make a matchup with the well-rested Bills even that much tougher. I see a big game for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
