The Bills announced that OLB Shawne Merriman will not travel with the team and is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Merriman was listed as doubtful in Friday's injury report with an Achilles injury. Head coach Chan Gailey said that the injury flared up in Thursday's practice. The Bills have a bye in Week Seven.
Merriman has nine tackles and one sack in five starts this season. Expect second-year LBs Danny Batten and Arthur Moats to see extra playing time in Merriman's place.
