Mayhem vs Spitsbing will be five rounds

By the grace and glory of Allah, it has been determined that the Michael Bisping vs Jason Miller fight at the end of this season's TUF will indeed be a five round fight. This seems like a no brainer and I'm sure many of you never even knew that was in question. Maybe if you read Fightlinker more closely you wouldn't be such uneducated bastards, huh?

?We?ll see, I don?t know,? White answered when asked if Bisping vs. Miller would fall under the new five round rule. ?I don?t think they?ll be the main event, you know what I mean? I don?t think they?ll be the main event.?

The implication there being that the TUF tournament fighters would get the five round designation instead. Which is stupid. While this year has more seasoned veterans than most, they're still green compared to Bisping and Miller. Throwing them into a five round fight was a recipe for disaster, not to mention a near guarantee that the coach fight would go to an unsatisfying decision.

The whole point of five round main events was to give big fights more time to be big. And considering the entire season of TUF is built around two established, popular coaches fighting, it would have been stupid to do things any other way. Fortunately, Dana White made the right choice. AKA the choice I wanted him to make. Good job Dana on being a genius like me.
