Saints coach Payton hurt on sideline

Saints head coach Sean Payton suffered a broken knee tibia and a torn MCL in his left knee as a result of a collision on the sideline during his team's Week Six game vs. the Buccaneers.

New Orleans TE Jimmy Graham, who was tackled by a Bucs defender into the coach during the first quarter, hit Payton on the sideline. Payton was on the bench being examined by doctors for a few minutes before being taken into the locker room via golf cart.

He was planning on coaching the second half of the game from the press box, but instead stayed in the locker room for more medical supervision.
