There are no teams on bye in Week 10, so you have your full slate of players available, barring injuries.
Don't forget to check out Pro Football Weekly's rankings as they're proven to be the best in the industry. At PFW, we don't just take the NFL seriously; we take fantasy just as seriously. As much as you want insight, the truth is, every service, every expert, every "wannabe" fantasy analyst checks the rankings to start. When you're in a jam, head to our player rankings section for that quick answer, especially on Sunday mornings.
49ers RB Frank Gore (ankle) has been limited in practice but expects to play this week. At less than 100 percent he may not see 100 yards, but he's worth starting just in case. He makes a No. 1 fantasy back against the Giants.
Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) is out for Week 10, so Brandon Jacobs will be the lead back and makes a flex back against the 49ers.
Saints RB Mark Ingram (heel) should play Sunday and could see a few touches, but look for the team to ease him back and to let Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas handle the load. Sproles makes a low-end No. 1 and Thomas a flex play against the Falcons.
Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) said he's slightly better than 50-50 and will see how it feels Saturday. Stay tuned for an update on him. He's a No. 2 fantasy receiver if he can go.
Bills WR Stevie Johnson (illness) may be suffering from the flu, so stay updated with reports as it could linger. If he plays as expected, he makes a No. 2 fantasy receiver against the Cowboys.
Fantasy starters
Patriots RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (foot) was limited in practice and has been ineffective since he suffered the injury. He only makes an injury fill-in against the Jets if he plays, and he has every week so far.
Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) will play and he says his knee isn't 100 percent but has improved. He's a No. 2 fantasy back against the Eagles, but keep an eye on his play. He may still be a sell-high candidate if he produces yet reports surface on a weakening knee.
Rams RB Steven Jackson (foot) will play this week and makes a No. 1 fantasy back against the Browns.
Patriots WR Wes Welker (ribs) went through a full practice and will play against the Jets this weekend. He's always a must-start.
Falcons WR Julio Jones (hamstring) should play without any issues, and it's not like he needs many targets to be effective. He's a No. 2 fantasy receiver against the Saints.
Seahawks WR Sidney Rice (foot) practiced and will play this week but makes an injury fill-in against the elite Ravens.
Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez (back) practiced this week and will play against the Saints and is a No. 1 fantasy tight end.
Redskins TE Fred Davis (ankle) has been practicing in full and will play. He makes a No. 1 fantasy tight end against the Dolphins
Out, or consider other alternatives ...
Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb (toe) has not practiced this week, and although listed as questionable, he is not expected to play. John Skelton will start against the Eagles but is a bench play.
Colts RB Joseph Addai (hamstring) has not practiced this week and has not played for two straight weeks. He's a fantasy bench while Delone Carter is a bench outside the largest leagues, whereas Donald Brown makes a flex play against the Jaguars.
Patriots RB Kevin Faulk (knee) was limited in practice, but whether he plays or not, he has no fantasy value at less than 100 percent. Not when there's a committee approach in place already.
Redskins RB Tashard Choice (hamstring) is questionable, but it's a new playbook for him, so even if he's active, look for the team to rely on new starter Roy Helu, with Ryan Torain backing him up. Choice is a bench play against the Dolphins.
Lions RB Jahvid Best (concussion) is out this week. Look for Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams to carry the load. Morris makes a flex play whereas Williams is a bench. Newly signed Kevin Smith is a nonfactor right now against the Bears.
Browns RB Peyton Hillis (hamstring) and Montario Hardesty (calf) are both out this week. Chris Ogbonnaya will start and he makes a flex play this week.
Cowboys RB Felix Jones (ankle) will not play this week, allowing DeMarco Murray the opportunity to carry the load, making him a No. 1 fantasy back against the Bills.
Texans WR Andre Johnson (hamstring) is out this weekend. Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walter will start, with Jones making a No. 3 fantasy receiver and Walter a flex play against the Bucs.
Saints WR Lance Moore (hamstring) will probably be a game-day decision as he has not practiced this week. If he plays, he makes a No. 3 fantasy receiver against the Falcons.
Bears WR Devin Hester (ankle) has not practiced this week, but the team hopes he can play. He has minimal fantasy value and doesn't warrant a start against the Lions unless 100 percent healthy.
Rams WR Danario Alexander (hamstring) is out, so look for Brandon Gibson to see the start, but also look for Mark Clayton to see some targets. Gibson is a bench player against the Browns.
Rams WR Mark Clayton (knee) will make his 2011 debut after a devastating knee injury last year. He will be limited in his return but is a watch-list player as he had chemistry with QB Sam Bradford last season. However, this is a new offense he'll be in as opposed to what he learned last year. Clayton's a bench player against the Browns.
Ravens WR Lee Evans (ankle) is unlikely to play, but the team won't rule him out. Plan on having Torrey Smith as the fantasy start because if Evans is active, he may see only a handful of snaps. Smith makes a No. 3 fantasy receiver against the Seahawks.
Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi (concussion) hasn't practiced this week and will not play. Look for Joshua Cribbs to see his targets, and he makes a flex play this week against the Rams.
Colts TE Dallas Clark (leg) is out this week, and his value was limited at best. Jacob Tamme will see his targets but has no fantasy value against the Jaguars.
Cardinals TE Todd Heap (hamstring) is questionable to play but has no fantasy value, and neither does Jeff King, who should see extended time against the Eagles.
Rams TE Lance Kendricks (foot) is out this week but had no fantasy value.
The 'B' team ...
Titans QB Matt Hasselbeck (thumb) practiced this week and will play against the Panthers but is still a bench outside two-QB-starter leagues.
Rams QB Sam Bradford (ankle) will play, but after starting out the season as a No. 2 fantasy quarterback with expectations, he's fantasy waiver-wire material right now.
Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral) practiced this week and is set to go but still has no fantasy value against the Ravens.
Jets WR Plaxico Burress (back) practiced Friday and should play, but it's the Sunday-night game, so be aware of any updates. He makes a No. 3 fantasy receiver against the Patriots.
Bucs WR Mike Williams (thigh) practiced this week and will play against the Texans. He makes a flex play.
Rounding it out
Saints RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) was able to practice on a limited basis but may not be active if Mark Ingram is healthy enough to play. With Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas on hand, the team has enough bodies without him.
Titans WR Nate Washington (hip) practiced Friday but will be a game-time decision with a questionable listing. As the No. 1, Washington has struggled and is not a recommended play. Look for Lavelle Hawkins to see more time, but he doesn't warrant a start against the Panthers.
Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham (hamstring) practiced Friday and should play, but until he gets back on track, he's a fantasy bench.
Titans TE Jared Cook (knee) practiced Friday and should play, but he's inconsistent and is not living up to expectations. He's a fantasy bench against the Panthers.
