Packers-Lions prediction

PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush offers his prediction for the Week 12 showdown vs. the Lions on Thanksgiving Day in Detroit.

As I wrote a few days ago, I don't see this game being a low-scoring affair like the last game between these two teams. A back-and-forth barn-burner seems a lot more likely, with the usual suspects — Aaron Rodgers for the Packers and Calvin Johnson for the Lions — putting on a fast-paced show that should start off Thursday's pro football action on the right foot.

Speaking of feet, something tells me Packers PK Mason Crosby could end up being a hero with a game-winning field goal. I also look for WR Greg Jennings to be a huge factor after being nothing but a decoy last week against the Bucs. And just for fun, I'm predicting that B.J. Raji pounds in another score from the FB position a la "Fridge" Perry at some point. Wouldn't that be cool?

Prediction: Packers 38, Lions 35
