Del Pilar's Digest: Fantasyland TE report

There are no teams on bye in Week 10, so you have your full slate of players available barring injuries.

The Patriots' offense ran through the TE position this past week with Rob Gronkowski (8-101-1 on 15 targets) and Aaron Hernandez (4-35-1 on five targets) each scoring a TD. Both are No. 1 tight ends with Gronkowski on an elite level. Gronkowski scored his first TD and had his first 100-yard game since Week Three and has a two-game average of 7.5 catches for 97.5 yards and 0.5 TDs on 12 targets.

Chargers TE Antonio Gates (8-96-1 on 11 targets) since returning from his foot injury has a three-game average of 5.67 catches for 74.3 yards and 0.67 TDs on 8.3 targets. He still has elite ability and makes a solid buy-low candidate as some owners perceive his value lower because of the problems QB Philip Rivers is having.

Packers TE Jermichael Finley (5-44-1 on seven targets) has two consecutive weeks with a touchdown and one can only hope it's a sign of a better second half as he has been held without a TD in five of the first eight games. He has a season-average of 3.75 catches for 47.3 yards and 0.6 TDs on 5.5 targets. Those are underwhelming numbers based on expectations but he's still a No. 1 tight end.

Steelers TE Heath Miller (5-73-0 on six targets) has come alive and has a three-week average of 5.3 receptions, 72.3 yards and 0.3 TDs on 6.3 targets. He's a matchup play right now but is a No. 1 in larger leagues.

Jets TE Dustin Keller (4-64-0 on seven targets) has a three-game average of 3.3 catches for 56 yards and zero TDs on 6.7 targets. He's a matchup play with only No. 2 TE value at the moment.

Giants TE Jake Ballard (4-67-1 on seven targets) is quietly having a great season and has a five-game average of 3.8 catches for 61.6 yards and 0.6 TDs on 5.2 targets. He deserves weekly fantasy consideration based on the matchup.

49ers TE Vernon Davis (4-41-0 on seven targets) has a three-game average of three catches for 25.3 yards and zero TDs on four targets. He has become a matchup play until the passing game improves.

Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow (4-29-1 on six targets) has two touchdowns in two games and has a two-game average of four catches for 27 yards and one TD on nine targets. He's still only posting No. 2 TE numbers because of a lack of yardage but can be a fantasy starter in larger leagues with little upside.

Dolphins TE Anthony Fasano (2-38-2 on three targets) had a great fantasy day with his two TDs but that's more of a fluke. He belongs on the waiver wire but monitor QB Matt Moore and see if he can give Fasano some fantasy value with increased targets.

Titans TE Jared Cook (4-47-0 on eight targets) had an average stat line, but saw eight targets, giving hope for him down the road. However, until he shows consistency, he has minimal value.
