WR Antonio Brown has become one of QB Ben Roethlisberger's top targets in his second NFL season. In fact, through eight games, Brown, not WR Mike Wallace, had the most passes thrown his way on the club. In addition to playing frequently on offense, Brown is the Steelers' primary punt and kickoff returner, and he has proven to be a big-play threat in that area, too, and particularly on punts, where he has had four returns of 31 yards or more. While Brown's speed is evident, his conditioning is also a major strength, we're told. An insider tells PFW that Brown's improved understanding of the game has helped him become such a key contributor this season. Brown has made strides with regards to making the proper route adjustments, the way we hear it, and he has transitioned well to playing an outside WR spot in Pittsburgh after playing inside at Central Michigan.
