Packers players of the week: Week Nine

PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush selects Green Bay's players of the week on offense, defense and special teams in the team's 45-38 Week Nine victory over the Chargers.

Offense: QB Aaron Rodgers

Further fortifying his league MVP credentials, Rodgers was once again brilliant Sunday, posting a 145.8 passer rating. He completed 21-of-26 passes for 247 yards and four TDs to four different receivers, in addition to carrying the ball eight times for 52 yards.

Defense: SS Charlie Peprah

Peprah's two interceptions Sunday turned the tide in Green Bay's favor. He returned his first pick 40 yards for a TD that gave the Packers a 14-7 lead. Peprah's 76-yard interception return of a pass intended for Chargers WR Vincent Jackson with 33 seconds remaining sealed the deal.

Special teams: KR Randall Cobb

Cobb rumbled 128 yards on five kickoff returns (25.6-yard average) with a long of 30.
