LOCK OF THE WEEK

Which of your picks do you feel strongest about and why?

Hub Arkush: New England just has too much on offense for the Cowboys to stay with them in Foxborough. Dallas is still banged up enough, and the Patriots' "D" may start to get healthy.

Keith Schleiden: The Packers are beginning to look upstoppable. Fourteen points is a big number to spot, but the Rams have appeared helpless. They had too many issues to fix over the bye.

Mike Holbrook: The Buccaneers' pass rush shouldn't bother Drew Brees, who should shred the Tampa secondary for 30 or more points, which will be too much for the Bucs.

Dan Arkush: Undermanned Rams are going nowhere fast with Sam Bradford starting to look shell-shocked. Packers' loaded receiving corps figures to shred Rams' crippled secondary.

Eric Edholm: With Mario Williams and Andre Johnson out for the Texans, who looked shaky against the Raiders offensively, the Ravens will dominate defensively and win handily.

Mike Wilkening: I'm just not convinced Minnesota will get much going vs. Chicago's defense. The Vikings are more formidable at home than on the road.

Dan Parr: It won't be a blowout of epic proportions like the one the Bucs suffered vs. the 49ers, but the Saints are a much better team. New Orleans will win by at least seven.

Kevin Fishbain: It's never a good time to play the Packers, even if you are coming off a bye, like St. Louis. The Rams' secondary is depleted, and I expect Aaron Rodgers to take full advantage.

Eli Kaberon: After losing three in a row, Rex Ryan is going to implore the Jets to play well on a national stage. Thankfully, the opponent is Matt Moore and the hapless Dolphins.
