Amir Khan Tutors Deprived Children At His Gym in England

WBA junior welterweight (140 pounds) king Amir Khan (23-1, 17 knockouts) hopes to beat the teacher when he defends his crown in Saturday night's HBO televised showdown with WBA interim titlist Marcos Rene Maidana (29-1, 27 KOs) at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.

At home in England, however, Khan, who is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, offers tutoring of a different nature at his Pride of Bolton Gloves Community Center boxing gym. Khan spoke to FanHouse about the special venue.
