Showtime boxing analyst Steve Farhood, a 32-year veteran of the sport, has been chosen by the Boxing Writers Association of America as the 2010 recipient of the Nat Fleischer Award for "Excellence in Boxing Journalism."In 1980, Farhood launched KO Magazine, and, from 1989 to 1997, was Editor in Chief of Ring Magazine.
From 1993 to 2008, Farhood served as the BWAA's First Vice-President. Twice, Farhood earned first-place finishes in the Barneys writing contest.
