Here are several whispers we've heard recently from around the NFC North:
• S Chris Harris and WLB Lance Briggs both said this week that they aren't surprised MLB Brian Urlacher isn't showing any signs of fading in his 11th season. Missing all but one game because of a wrist injury in 2009 saved Urlacher from going through almost a full season of wear and tear, and he appears to be benefiting from that layoff. Lions head coach Jim Schwartz recently joked that Urlacher must have a time machine somewhere.
• Word has it that Packers veteran TE Donald Lee is none too happy about his lack of usage lately, as rookies Andrew Quarless and Tom Crabtree had been seeing more playing time at his expense heading into Week 13.
• The Vikings have been approached by two Los Angeles-based groups about relocation, but our sources in Minnesota say that remains a worst-case scenario. The hope remains that a new stadium will be built in Minneapolis, and we hear that the Wilf family appears focused on getting things done locally even if negotiations for a new facility aren't currently active.
