Report: Jets willing to part ways with Cromartie

The Jets have multiple high-profile free agents, and they are reportedly considering letting one of them walk.

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi said Wednesday that the Jets are likely to let CB Antonio Cromartie walk and focus on re-signing free-agent WRs Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards.

Cromartie had three interceptions this season opposite Darrelle Revis. Edwards led the Jets with 904 receiving yards and seven scores, while Holmes added 746 yards and six TDs.

The way we see it

The Jets had the league's sixth-best passing defense and already boast one of the top corners in the NFL in Revis. The defense is the team's strength, and it appears they are willing to part with Cromartie in order to keep two key pieces of the offense.
