Vick cancels 'Oprah' appearance

Eagles QB Michael Vick has canceled on Oprah.

Vick's interview with the daytime talk show host was set to air Feb. 24, but his representatives canceled the appearance for personal reasons.

"After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22," Vick said in a statement. "I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future."

The interview was set to cover Vick's time in prison and his work with the Humane Society, as well as his on-field resurgence.

Vick was the 2010 Comeback Player of the Year, throwing for 21 TDs and rushing for nine. He missed two seasons and served 18 months in federal prison for his role in a dogfighting operation.
