Packers rookie report: Week Three

The Packers' youth hasn't been served much since second-rounder Randall Cobb's scintillating debut in the season opener against the Saints. For the second straight game, Cobb was the only rookie to make any kind of an impact, and it was minimal against the Bears.

Cobb did have one catch for 13 yards last Sunday, in addition to five punt returns for 39 yards, with a long gain of 17. He had no kickoff returns.

Two other rookies pitched in sparingly on special teams — undrafted rookie OLB Jamari Lattimore had two special-teams tackles, and sixth-round !LB D.J. Smith had one special-teams tackle.

First-round draft pick Derek Sherrod has yet to play this season, but he will be the top backup tackle if Bryan Bulaga is sidelined with a bruised knee this Sunday (check status).
