Cardinals players might train in Minnesota

The Cardinals are planning on holding a player-led minicamp sometime in the next few weeks, and while they aren't sure exactly where it will be taking place, the team could be heading north to Minnesota.

SS Adrian Wilson told PFW correspondent Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic that the team would like to get together to prepare for the 2011 season, but finding a location where everyone can meet has been an issue.

"We're trying to get three days in, or three practices in, depending on what guys have to do," Wilson said. "We're not trying to take up guys' time but we are trying to get better as a team, get better as individual units."

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is from Minneapolis and hosts a summer camp there every summer, and Wilson said it is possible the team would go there to train. There is also the possibility the team would meet somewhere in the Phoenix area.
