Vikings-Packers third-quarter reflections

It looks like the Vikings will need the miracle of all miracles to avoid a series sweep to the Packers, as Green Bay continued to pull away with another score to take a 24-3 lead into the fourth quarter.

Packers WR Greg Jennings, who has been having his way with the Vikings’ secondary in this game, increased Green Bay’s lead with a 46-yard TD catch that totally spun around Viking defender Asher Allen.

The Vikings had a 51-yard field goal by Ryan Longwell that was good by about 10 yards was negated on Jim Kleinsasser’s holding call, as boos began to drown out the Vikings rally horns.
