The Chargers have agreed with ILB Stephen Cooper on a one-year deal, the club announced Friday.
Cooper, 32, started 11 games for San Diego last season, notching 43 tackles. He has played his entire career with the Chargers, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2003.
"He will bring his experience and more veteran leadership to our linebacker corps," Chargers GM A.J. Smith said, according to the club.
