Williams picks up where he left off for Packers

A minor hip ailment couldn't slow down CB Tramon Williams, who daily camp observers claim looks just as dominant as he did throughout last year's playoffs, covering the likes of Greg Jennings like a blanket in practice after practice. "It's a real luxury," Williams told PFW when asked recently how beneficial it was to be able to go up against receivers like Jennings every day. "Anytime you go up against a group of guys where you have to bring your 'A' game every day, it's going to help you. It's not just one guy. It's Greg, (Donald) Driver, Jordy (Nelson) — all those guys." Is there anything in particular Williams credits as being responsible for his breakthrough 2010 campaign? "I think the biggest thing was my comfort level, knowing for sure that I was going to be a starter," he said. "When you're a nickel back, you mainly come in on third down. As a starter, I felt like I had to know everything."
