Eagles agree to deal with DE Babin

DE Jason Babin, who is coming off a career year, is returning to Philadelphia and will reunite with DL coach Jim Washburn.

The Eagles and Babin agreed to a five-year deal. FOX Sports' Jay Glazer first reported the news.

Babin started all 16 games in Tennessee last season, recording 12½ sacks. He played for the Eagles in 2009, playing in 12 games and collecting 2½ sacks.

According to PFW correspondent and The Tennessean writer Jim Wyatt, the deal is worth $28 million with $5-6 million guaranteed.

The eighth-year veteran has played for five teams. He began his career with the Texans. Washburn was Babin's DL coach in Tennessee last season and is now the Eagles' new DL coach.
