Packers complete draft-pick signings

The Packers completed signing all 10 of their picks from the 2011 draft late Saturday morning, officially announcing that they had agreed to terms with first-round OT Derek Sherrod, third-round RB Alex Green and fourth-round CB Davon House.

The team also officially announced the re-signings of PK Mason Crosby, TE Spencer Havner and WR Brett Swain.

Sherrod, who helped Mississippi State rank second in the conference in rushing in 2010 and first in '09, is expected to back up starting OLT Chad Clifton and possibly compete for a starting spot at left guard.

Green, who ranked second in University of Hawaii history for rushing yards in a single season, could play a prominent role in the offense replacing backup RB Brandon Jackson, who signed with the Browns.

House adds depth at the corner position, where veteran starter Charles Woodson is getting up in years.

Crosby has scored 507 points in four seasons, the second most in NFL history by any player in his first four seasons behind only New England PK Stephen Gostkowski.

Havner has played in 26 games during his NFL career, with 22 of those coming with the Packers.

Swain, a seventh-round selection of the Packers in 2008, played in all 16 games with one start in 2010 and posted six receptions for 72 yards (12.0-yard average).
