Report: All 32 player reps expected in D.C. on Wednesday

Player representatives from all 32 NFL teams will arrive in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday as lockout negotiations continue to progress, according to the NFL Network's Albert Breer.

The player reps will be informed of any final details of a potential new collective bargaining agreement at that time and will then pass along that information to their teammates, according to Breer. If the players are happy with the proposal, they are expected to be prepared to recertify as a union and vote to pass the proposal on Wednesday.

Under that scenario, the owners could then vote to ratify the deal at the owners meetings Thursday in Atlanta, which would bring the lockout to a close.

The way we see it

It sounds as if the pieces are in place for the lockout to come to an end on Thursday, but nothing is definite until both sides have agreed. There are still a number of issues to be settled as the two sides continue to negotiate over the next few days.
